I have been very lax with updating my blog. While I spend plenty of time on my laptop in the evening, I just can't get myself to focus on blogging about my day... or past week... or whatever. I think it might partly be due to my obsessive picture taking... I take so many pictures that I can never narrow my choices down to an amount that would be interesting. I tend to over-due things.
September has been a busy month for us. I'll really try to sit down one of the next few evenings and do some good updating. But for now, you get my Tee Hee's of E...
Eowyn had been raving about the 'princesses' in her ears ever since her well visit. I had told her doctor that she had been having issues with being afraid at her appointments, so she decided to throw in some fun things for Eowyn. As she checked Eowyn's ears, she says, "OH! I see Sleeping Beauty in this one! And Cinderella in this ear!" So, randomly Eowyn will go up to people and say thing like, "I have Sleeping Beauty in my ear!!" To which she gets raised eyebrows and "oh- that's nice"...
So.... last night, I am washing Eowyn up during bath time. I start cleaning her ears and she gets all upset... "MOMMY!!! Don't squish them!!!!" I laughed so hard I thought I would pee my pants. Apparently she was not impressed. She looked very hurt and didn't smile at all to my laughter. Thinking quickly, I explained to her that the princesses were NOT in her ears right then, and I had to clean out their homes... This seemed to ease the tension a bit and Eowyn allowed me to finish cleaning her ears.
Also, last night, Eowyn, Shayne and I were watching The Iron Giant. Shayne gets up at one point to get a drink and asks for my coaster. I have 4 coasters, so I tell him that there should be 2 on the end table by where he is sitting. No dice. I look at Eowyn and figure that 9 times out of 10, she has moved something... so I ask her.
Me: Eowyn, do you know where the coasters are?
E: Yup
Me: Eowyn, where are the coasters?
E: Over there
Me: Eowyn.... where is 'over there'?
E: (crickets chirping)
Me: Eowyn... are they in your toy basket?
E: No! They're OVER THERE!
Me: On the porch
E: Yeah...
(I probably should have paused the movie)
Anyways- so I go out on the porch and Eowyn had taken 3 of the coasters and set her baby pumpkins and gourd on them... It was pretty cute.
I'm looking forward to Thursday. I have the day off from work to attend Eowyn's Apple Orchard field trip at daycare. It should only be a morning sort of thing, so I think Shayne and I are going to see how Eowyn does at the movie theater. Shayne picked her up "Cloudy, With a Chance of Meatballs" for a new book and we will read that and explain to her that we will be going to see a movie about the book. I'm hoping that mid-day/early afternoon will be a slow time so we don't interrupt anyone's viewing of the movie... in the event that Eowyn doesn't behave. I'm hoping it goes well as she is normally very good when watching a movie for the first time.

Well Visit
Eowyn had her 3-year well visit Tuesday afternoon. She was so good and did an excellent job following directions when the nurse was asking her to get on the scale and stand a certain way when she had to measure Eowyn's height.
Here are her stats:
Weight: 36.5 pounds
Height: 40.1"
Head Circum: @ 20"
All are in the top 95% =)
We also have a little questionaire thing that we get to do each time we go in. You go through and answer questions until you get 3 wrong. Questions include: Can your child say her full name understandably? Can your child identify the animals shown without any help? Place this questionaire on the floor and have your child jump over it. Can she do so? Have your child make the same shape shown: 0. Do not tell her what the shape is, but ask her to make one herself. Etc... We only answered 2 as 'No'... and one of them wasn't really fair because they didn't have blocks to use.
Eowyn's doctor seemed impressed with how well Eowyn interacted with her. It was adorable, Eowyn was even polietly smiling at some of the silly jokes or smiles the doctor would make. The doctor has no concerns with Eowyn's progress at this time. I brought up Eowyn's disgust for vegetables... And it's not even so much that she doesn't like them, but the consistency makes her gag... Poor thing... she DOES try them though.... Where Eowyn is growing well, her doctor is not concerned that she is not getting enough nutrients. I explained that I do put a partial instant breakfast in her milk each day and she has a daily multivitamin as well.
This morning was rough... Yesterday, when I picked up Eowyn, Miss Amanda (at daycare) had mentioned that Eowyn had been having a very hard time getting dropped off... She had noticed that Eowyn wouldn't have a problem when I dropped her off, but when James dropped her off, she would cry and get very upset. That observation made me a little curious... but then on the way home, I was talking up daycare and asking her about the fun things she had done there today... Eowyn said that she didn't want to go to daycare. I told her that she didn't have to go back today as we were going home, but that she would get to go and play with her friends the next day. She started getting upset, so we started talking about something else. This morning, like always, we got up and I asked her what she would like to wear to school. She started getting upset and saying, "I don't want to go to daycare!! I want to go to work with you!!" I got her dressed and she played in her playroom while I took a shower and got ready for work. She got in the car and we drove to daycare... As soon as we pulled in the parking lot, she started getting VERY upset and crying. I was able to get her inside and she sat at the table and I pointed out how she had her very own spot at the table with her name and a picture of her right at her seat... She was still crying... She had her Minnie Mouse doll and her blanket... along the crackers that I allowed her to take (for comfort??) and she eventually stopped crying... so I snuck away... made it to work 1 minute late.
I'm not a big fan of this. She would occasionally have issues with being dropped off at daycare in the past, but nothing to this magnitude. Well... when she was younger, she did have similar reactions, but that seemed to be the standard separation anxiety that was appropriate for her age... This seems to be a combination of starting the new daycare, making new friends (and not having her normal friends around her), and possibly separation anxiety? And I hate to say it... but the first thing that I thought when Miss Amanda brought the issue up, was that James was somehow sabotaging the transition to the new daycare... Maybe not even intentionally, but possibly by bringing up her old daycare and asking if she missed it... and obviously having her old teacher as his girlfriend is a constant reminder to her... I don't know... I tend to get overly suspicious of things involving James and Eowyn because I feel that I am constantly having to remind him of proper daily hygiene (tooth brushing, potty training, baths) as well as proper ways of handling situations... It's so frustrating and I hate always thinking the worst...

Things to do...
I think that I will make a list of things to do with Eowyn... something that I can refer back to when I am drawing a blank...
1. Counting
Normally Eowyn and I practice counting every day. Currently she can count to 10 in English, Spanish and French. She can sometimes get to 13 in English... so working more on counting seems to be something that will be fun =)
2. Letters
Eowyn is getting better and better at identifying her letters. We have a few sets of flash cards that she likes to use (sometimes), but really has to be in the mood. She loves finding letters that she knows when we are out and about... "LOOK! There's an M for MOMMY!!!"
3. Writing
My mother got Eowyn this amazing little Leap Frog toy that has all of the letters (uppercase and lowercase) on it. It has a little writing pad that lights up with dots showing you how to write the letter. Eowyn picked this up very quickly and likes using this toy. I think it might be time to pick up some lined paper to see if she can start duplicating the letters without the aid of the little lights.
4. Talking
Eowyn is not afraid to let you know if she is not happy with you. We have been working on her manners and she is very good at using please, thank you, you're welcome, bless you and excuse me... but her interactions with me make me very sad sometimes. If I raise my voice to her when she has misbehaved, she yells at me and responds with such things as, "no, YOU need a COOL DOWN!" And she gets very embarrassed if she accidentally hurts you and you request an apology. She hides her face or refrains from making eye contact while ignoring the whole apologizing thing completely. I have started taking her in my arms and holding her (like a baby) and explaining that it's okay that accidents happen, but if you make someone sad, you should let them know that you are sorry. I hate to force her to look at me, but holding her this way is the only way that I can get her to focus on the issue at hand and eventually she WILL make eye contact and apologize. I just want for her to be able to interact with me on an appropriate level. I hate having to raise my voice at her and I feel that I am doing it a lot lately... =(
5. Outside Fun/Learning
a. Eowyn showed a great interest in bugs this summer... She would bend over and watch an ant scurry around and seemed to really enjoy putting a few different bugs (spider, ant, centipede) in her bug box to watch them. I love to see that she is so inquisitive about things and need to sit down and think up different fun learning things that we can do... With fall coming up, I think that she would really enjoy going for a walk and picking up leaves and learning what tree the leaves came from.
b. Recently, I purchased a GPSr and Wendy brought Shayne, Eowyn and I out on our first Geocaching trip. We went to a local forest park and found 3 different caches. Involving Eowyn was such a great experience. She enjoys nature and after finding the first cache ('treasure box') she was doubly excited to find the next. She LOVED trading her items for things in the caches and while walking down the trail, kept saying, "Where iiiiiissss it? Where is the treasure?'' It was adorable and a great way to get outside for some fresh air and excercise.
c. I am hoping to get some really good pictures of Eowyn in the fall scenery this year. Though she is shying away from enjoying having her picture taken, I am still able to get some adorable pictures of her. I picked up the most adorable red peacoat for her at Target that I can't wait to have her in. She already looks as cute as a button in it, so I cannot wait to see how wonderful the pictures will be when I am able to get her outside with some beautifully colored leaves as the background.
d. I'm also looking forward to apple picking and the corn maze this year. Last year, Eowyn and I had a great time apple picking, but she was a little too young to do the corn maze. I think she will enjoy it this year!
6. Professional Pictures
Normally, at daycare/school they have a photographer come and take a class picture and a picture of your child. I am looking forward to seeing how her pictures will come out this year =)
Also- Last year, Eowyn and I went and got our pictures done together. I think they came out really well, and eventhough we went to the photo studio at Wal*Mart, I was please with the results (and price). I am debating (more financially) on whether we can afford school pictures, Eowyn's pictures done elsewhere and pictures of us both together.
I suppose... that's all I can think of right now... Feel free to leave comments with any suggestions that you may have =)

Catch Up
So, it's been quite a long time since I've posted a blog. I can only chalk it up to laziness and just NOT having time...
July-August I had VZW training. 4 weeks of learning. It was really helpful to learn the things that we need to know in order to do our job.
August 15th we celebrated Eowyn's 3rd birthday (her real birthday is August 14th). Invitations were sent out requesting that guests arrive wearing their 'court attire' and we had an all out Princess Party complete with magical rice crispy star wands and dragon pinata. Lol. It never fails that I end up going overboard with her parties... she's only 3 and I simultaneously become excited and apprehensive. I LOVE trying to make her parties exciting and different... but end up getting so stressed out... This year she really seemed to enjoy her party. Everyone dressed up and seemed to have a good time. It was ridiculously hot though... Have you ever seen sun baked cheese and pepperoni? It's nasty looking. Lol
August 16th I woke up with a swollen face. My jaw had been bothering me for a few days, but I thought it was just from me being stressed and clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth in my sleep (this happens mainly when I am very stressed)... I ended up going into Walk In Care and getting some Penicilin and Hydrocodon... Without proper dental screening, they assumed I had an abscess... On the 17th I got into the dentist and had a panoramic xray done... Seems that one of my wisdom teeth is coming in sideways and is pushing into the root of one of my molars. Great... So I will need to either have both teeth pulled, or the wisdom tooth pulled and a root canal on the molar...
As my current dentist is in Old Town (about 20-30 mins away), I had been tossing around the idea of transferring to one in Bangor. Supposedly there is a place in Bangor that does regular dentistry as well as oral surgery... So I ask to have my file sent there. This place says that they can get me in on Wednesday (I called on Monday) for an emergency consultation. I show up Wednesday and the receptionist tells me, "I'm showing your appointment is NEXT Wednesday..." BS... I was so mad... how can 10 days be considered an 'emergency' consultation... Not only that, but the gentleman at the window next to me had the same issue- he was in for a filling and the receptionist he was talking to said, "I'm showing your appointment is NEXT week..." Someone obviously doesn't have a clue as to how to run their scheduling software... I tell them to cancel my appointment and I would find somewhere else to go to... So what happens? It takes the new dental place 10 days to receive my pan-xray so that I cannot actually GO to a different dentist as they will at least need to see that to determine what needs to be done and make any referrals based on that... Then when I call the place that I want to go to (went there as a child), they are closed for the week on vacation... I'm just about finishing up my Penicilin and have stopped using the Hydrocodon for the pain (swapped back to Advil for the minor pain I would experience). I'm feeling a bit better and just dealing with uncomfortableness and having to remember to chew on my non-chewing side as to avoid excruciating pain... So I decide to just wait it out and speak with my dentist-to-be when they are back from vacation...
THEN (oh yes, it gets better, folks) I start feeling that dry feeling in my sinuses... the next day it has progressed into pressure and pain... then the following day it is almost certainly a sinus infection... I am in pain and taking sinus medicine. Now, I am not one that deals well with medication... I tend to get extremely silly and loopy... So I am basically acting the fool at work while trying not to cause my nose to fall off from all the tissue blows and rubs... Mid week my sinus pressure starts to go away (still dealing with the runny/stuffy nose) and I feel it move down to my throat and chest... I wake up one morning and it honestly feels like someone has smacked me across the chest with a baseball bat. Ugg...
Thursday, I get a call from E's daycare that she is not feeling well and doesn't want to go potty. I get her into the doctor's that evening. Because I have a cough, I am required to wear a medical mask at the doctor's office. Eowyn wanted to wear one too, so I didn't feel as bad... but I was still extremely embarrassed. The way people look at you when you have those on... not to mention that it was hot and hard to breathe with... Lol... This visit to the doctor's required getting a 3 year-old to pee in a cup. Considering that I brought her in because she DIDN'T WANT to go potty, I thought it was going to be a difficult task... But we ended up getting it accomplished. Lol. And Eowyn seemed excited to tell anyone she saw that she peed in a cup... lol.
Friday, I end up staying home with Eowyn. Partially because I wanted to be around if she had any further issues with using the potty... it didn't seem appropriate to have daycare deal with that. Secondly, I seemed to have hit my lowest point with this cold... I was disoriented and woozy and didn't feel comfortable even driving Eowyn across the bridge to daycare... I didn't even bother to contact her father to see if he could help... he knew that I was sick and didn't make any attempts to take her on any additional evenings so that I could try to get some rest and hopefully NOT pass it on to her...
Luckily, around 10am, Eowyn felt like snuggling in bed with me while having her morning breakfast shake. She and I both fell asleep and when we woke up, it was after 1am! Sadly, I was still disoriented and wobbly. Shayne came over to help keep an eye on Eowyn while I stumbled around. I ended up falling asleep on the couch while they watched a movie... Apparently Eowyn had a hard time leaving me alone... she kept going up to Shayne and asking, "We wake Mommy up now??!?!?" Lol. I am so thankful that Shayne came over to help. I ended up feeling rested enough so that Shayne and I could take a quick trip to the Folk Festival. It was a little chilly, but the fresh air seemed to help my sinuses and lungs a LOT.
Saturday was my sister, Emily's, baby shower. I had agreed to allow the use of my place as the other options included households with pets, and Emily's daughter seems to have some sort of allergy to pets (they haven't determined which one(s) yet). My Aunt Karen made tons of food and we had a good time. I was sad that not as many people as expected showed up, but we had a good time with the people that were there =)
On Sunday, Eowyn, Shayne and I went to the last day of the Folk Festival. Eowyn had a fun time in the family section and got her arm painted with a pink butterfly (WITH glitter) and we listened to the Chinese band (is that what you call it?) while we were waiting. Shayne got her a snow cone and she LOVED that. It ended up blowing a leak in the cone part and spilling all over her dress, but I came prepared with 2 extra outfits for her, so she was all set =) We got some food and listened to a few bands while we ate and then headed home. James picked up Eowyn around 4:30pm and I was able to relax with Shayne for the evening.
Last night, Shayne, Wendy and I went to see Inglorious Basterds. It was an AMAZING film. Tarantino has such an amazing way of twisting a story into something that you never would have thought of. What we saw was something that I was not expecting... I was expecting the film to revolve around the 'Natzi Killers' for most of the film, but true to Tarantino style, the movie had 3+ plots that ended up meeting up in the end. And surprise ending... yes, please =)
Today, Eowyn has her 3-year well visit. I always enjoy going to these because she is so smart and I love to see how advanced she is for her age (when based on the tests that they give you). Also- at her last few visits, she had been so uncomfortable and threw fits because she was either scared or just out of her comfort zone. Since then, I picked up a little doctor's kit for her and she seems more interested in the whole idea of going to the doctor and even has stated that she wants to go to the dentist! Her unscheduled appointment on Thursday went remarkably well- I explained what the doctor would be doing to her to make sure that she was okay and she was quite the little trooper. She did everything that was asked and once the nurse understood that I was explaining things in such detail to her for a reason, she started making the examination more fun. When looking in Eowyn's ears, she quietly asked me what Eowyn's favorite cartoon was and I replied, 'princesses'... In Eowyn's left ear the nurse says, "OH! I see Sleeping Beauty in this ear!!" and then for her right, "I see Cinderella in this one!" Eowyn thought that was the greatest thing and kept asking me to peek in her ear to see if they were still there. Lol. I'm hoping that if she has to get any shots today, that it won't ruin the wonderful progress we have made.
...Trying to think of something fun and new for Eowyn and I to do today after the appointment. She has her new dress up box, has been loving coloring with her markers and also loves playing with her new dollhouse... Sometimes we make neclaces with the bead set I picked up for her a while ago... But I am trying to think of something different to do as a family. I had picked up some air-drying clay a while back to use to make homemade photo frame magnets for her to give as presents for Christmas (or whatever). Maybe we will do that. Once they dry, I think she would like to paint them and will get a kick out of picking out different photographs of herself to put in them =) I guess I have to bust out my craft bins to see what I've got! Lol.

Lol.

My little devil is becoming an angel :)
Eowyn has been so good the past week. It's been a welcome change. Don't get me wrong- she still disagrees with me and says 'no', but she has been doing a great job with compromising.
On Wednesday, I had asked Eowyn (again...) how she felt about getting her hair cut. She looked at me, rather thoughtfully, then said, "we go to Target to get some candy???" Ok- yes... My child has some serious negotiation skills and is not even 3 yet. Lol. And you're damn skippy- I went with it! I agreed that AFTER we got our hair cut we could go to Target....and possibly get some candy. I'd been asking her about getting her hair cut for almost a month now... this was the first time that she actually gave it some thought before difiantly telling me NO!
We went to the mall and were able to get right in for our trims. She suggested that I take my turn first, but after seeing that they had a basket of dumdums, she didn't argue about going first. The woman doing our hair wasn't sure if she could get us both in before her scheduled appointment that was coming up in 45 minutes. Anyways... Eowyn sat in the chair without any problems and sat still while her hair was being done. Then she stood next to me while my hair was being washed and stood next to me (chatting and keeping very good company) while my hair was trimmed. I totally let her sucker the girls at there into letting her have another lollipop. Lol.
We went to Target, as promised, and on the way over we discussed what 'prize' she would get for being such a good girl. I don't really want to bribe her to do things, but it seemed appropriate to hold up my end of the bargain... lol. We talked about how one of the pretty flowers on her toenail was 'broken' and that we would look for some special stickers when we went to Target. She picked out some purple nail polish and we got the least sucky stickers they had for nail art... And she ended up grabbing one of those damn Disney Princess Dolls they have in the check out. They're small and have the rubber clothes on them... all in all, we only spent like $8. Seemed worth it to me :)
Tonight, after two days of NO RAIN, I was frantically trying to figure out how I was going to mow the lawn... Eowyn is normally very curious, so I don't feel comfortable leaving her in the house when I am doing something outside ...especially when I can't hear her. I told her that I had to mow the lawn as we were eating dinner, and asked her if she would sit on the steps and watch me do the front lawn. She agreed until she saw the lawn mower... she got upset (not crying, but worried) and put her hands over her ears. She told me that she didn't want me to make it be loud. After telling her that it wouldn't be THAT loud, she seemed to calm down a bit and sat down to eat her goldfish crackers while I mowed the lawn.
I KID YOU NOT- THE LAWN MOWER STARTED ON MY FIRST TRY! WOOOOOT!!!
Ahem...anyways...
I finished the front lawn and moved to the back. Eowyn sat on the back deck while I mowed and found a my garden tools and started digging in a window box that was basically growing grass. Lol. When I was done, she wanted to play in her sandbox. I took the cover off and she started playing while I went and got the rake to start cleaning up the horrible lines of grass from my lawns much needed crew cut...
"MOMMY!!!! THERE'S A BUG!!!!!"
Now, we go through this every now and then. She'll either freak out about a bug, or be playing with the disgusting thing... So, I casually tell her to flick it out with her shovel.
"NO!!!! YOU DO IT! ITSA BEEEEEEETTTTLLLLLEEE!!!!!"
The kid was not lying. There ended up being 5 gross beetles...those green garden type ones (they were just big and nasty) and a couple of disgusting spiders... So, I'm flicking the stupid bugs out of her sandbox with a little shovel...Ewwww...
And yes, I took a picture... Of a dead one.
She was not impressed that she had to wait for me to get my phone to take the picture... Lol.

Natural
Last night Shayne, Eowyn and I went to the mall. For Dina's wedding I had fake nails put on and I finallly couldn't stand them anymore and wanted them off. Shayne had agreed to play with Eowyn at the arcade while I was at the nail place. They had a fun time, but Eowyn exhausted Shayne. Lol. I think he might understand why I am so tired all the time now :)
Tonight, if all goes well, I am going to pick up Eowyn from daycare and we're going to grab some Happy Meals at McDonald's. After we eat in the car, we are going to head downtown and meet up with Wendy to check out the market area that they have every Thursday (I think until the Folk Festival). It will be nice to do something different and hang out with Wendy again (it's been a while).

Strategic Eating...
I forgot to mention that Eowyn did an awesome job eating her dinner last night. Normally she picks and hardly eats... On the way home from daycare, I asked her what she wanted for dinner and she listed off a few things, so I made them. She wanted hotdogs, cheese, yogurt and milk. Lol.
I ended up making myself a sandwich and she decided that she wanted a sandwich as well. Since she had a second hotdog (not cut up) on her plate, I asked if she wanted to make a sandwich out of her hotdog... She excitedly agreed, so I put her remaining hotdog in a bun...Since it was too big for her to actually get some of the bun AND hotdog when she took a bite, this is how she ended up eating it:
She ate the bread after...
Things to do...
So, I think that I am really going to start saving up to get a handheld GPS. I did one geocache with Wendy (the one right behind work) a while ago and thought it was fun and exciting. I had been looking around for a cheap, yet decent quality one, but have not had much luck. And I got VERY frustrated at eBay when trying to bid on one... mumble...stupid people going and updating at the last second...jerks.
Anyways- I am hoping that in getting one of these spiffy GPS devices, that Eowyn and I will have some fun things that we can go out and do. She loves being outside and playing, but I think she would also have a good time on a little 'treasure' hunt. She really likes playing with electronics (though she doesn't always get her way), so I think she would really get into it. I'm basically trying to find something for us to do that is entertaining for both of us.
I am also looking forward to the fun Thursday night mini festival/farmers market type thing that has started down town. Hoping to meet up with Wendy after I get Eowyn on Thursday so we can wander around looking at stuff :) I just hope that it doesn't rain and that Eowyn isn't TOO grubby from playing outside... she has a tendency to be covered from head to foot in dirt, sand and woodchips when I pick her up... Washing her hair last night was SOOOOO much fun...

Weekend
So, this weekend was pretty crazy for me. My mom kidnapped Eowyn on Friday night, so Shayne and I went to Josh's and hung out (and got drunk) there for the night.
Saturday was Kristen's birthday. We had a great time having dinner at Chili's and then went to Scott and Paul's for some beer di.

I don't remember if I have ever been as drunk as I was that night. I didn't even really do anything out of the ordinary. I guess the stars were alligned properly and I was able to have a pretty good drunk on. Lol. Shayne even said that he's never seen me that drunk before. Lol. I was silly and giggly. I got mad at Scott for telling me that I shouldn't get on the beer di table...
Me: Are you calling me fat
Scott: No- you're just big boned
OH SNAP! So...of course... being as drunk as I was, I continued to bring up the "Scott said I was fat" thing all night. Lol. Oh...and to remember David May's middle name, I called him David Kurt Russell May... We all got a kick out of that. Lol.
Sunday night, Shayne and I went to Josh's and Malali made some AWESOME chicken with corriander and spinich and rice. OMG...it was delicious. I felt bad because I was so tired and kept yawning while we were visiting... I guess I can't drink like I use to (but I still didn't get hung over).

Ice Cream!
It was so nice to have a warm, but not TOO hot, day today. After dinner, Eowyn and I met Shayne and Josh at Gifford's and we got some ice cream :)
The last time Eowyn met Josh, she was being very shy and didn't really want anything to do with him. Today was a different story... Josh was done with his ice cream first, so went to play with Eowyn around a tree by the picnic table we were sitting at. She ended up warming right up to him and they played in the dirt and watched ants... Lol. She calls him Joss.
Shayne put a maple seed on his nose and taught Eowyn how to be a rhino. Unfortunately, the seeds were still green, so they weren't very sticky. But a little mommy spit made it stay on for a few seconds. LOL.
PS: YAY!! I was finally able to load some pictures from home to my blog!!! Super stoked!!!

Gym
I ended up going to the gym on Monday. I had taken the day off so that I could travel to Old Town for a dentist appointment, and not have to worry about rushing back.
Monday also happened to be the last day of work for my co-workers that were taking severence and leaving (Shayne being included in this group). It ended up working out well. I was getting back to Bangor as Shayne was leaving work. Shayne, Billy and I ended up hanging out at Shayne's for a bit and then we went to the Ground Round for lunch. Paul was suppose to meet us there, but flaked.
I called DD and Shayne and Billy had a few drinks. Well, Shayne had a drink and a few shots...getting quite goofy :) After lunch, we went home and he took a nap. I ended up deciding at 8:30pm that I would go to the gym (they close at 10pm). Shayne didn't feel like going- who could blame him... after getting drunk and taking a nap???
So- I made it. I got myself back to the gym. I did 20 on the eliptical, some thigh stuff, seated bench press, and my bendy-down-stomach-thing. I decided to call it quits when I started seeing black dots in my vision while doing the stomach thing. I hadn't gone in a few weeks and was still fighting a cold, so assume that my body was trying to tell me something.
Yay for the gym!

Bugs
Eowyn has been very interested in bugs lately. She will bend down and inspect ants, bumble bees, or whatever is crawling around. Most of the time she is very curious and won't leave them alone, but every now and then she will get freaked out and call for me to come and get the bug because she doesn't want it around her.
Last night, we found a cute little inch worm. She was absolutely fascinated with it and enjoyed having it crawl on her hand. She would get all excited when it would go on her finger or thumb and squeal, "Look!!! It's on my finger!!!"

Dinner
I made some porkchops, steamed zuccini/summer squash and rice for dinner last night. It was very yummy.
Eowyn was a really good sport. Normally she won't even TRY something that she doesn't like the looks of, but I was able to get her to 'bite' a piece of zuccini 'like a cookie' and try it. She kept gagging, but kept on chewing for a bit before she mumbled, "I don't like it"... She ate a lot more of her pork chops than I expected, and even some rice :)
Ok...and apparently there's something wrong with my connection on my lap top. Maybe it's not fast enough when I'm connecting WiFi to get my pictures loaded to blogspot... This one loaded fine from my work computer...Sigh...
Also- I feel like crap. I was thinking maybe I had some allergies or something, but it feels more like a cold. I don't think you get fevers with allergies... Not impressed... And I HAVE to go to the gym tomorrow... it's been WAY too long...

Cranky
I haven't posted much over the last few weeks. I've been cranky with Blogspot and it's inability to upload my pictures to my blogs. It will go through the motion of uploading and the progress bar will fill... but it will not go to the next step of actually LOADING the pictures into by blog.
BOO HISS
Anyways- for a boring update (without my cute pictures), I will give a quick rundown:
5/21: Unistock. I have pictures on my Facebook. It was pretty fun... we ended up being outside almost all day.
5/22: Emily and Kassidy's birthday. The party wasn't until Sunday. Kassidy turned 1 and her mom, Emily, turned 21.
5/23: TAP Party at Paul's. I made one batch of Jell-O Shots and thought that would be enough. Last time I made 3 batches and had to push them on people... Plus, this time I only had enough vodka on hand for one batch. Ended up sucking at Tekken, ate almost a whole pizza (this is combined snacking over the night, and after voiding what was in my stomach part way through the night- PUKE AND RALLY! WOO!).
5/24: Woke up to some stupid people re-shingling a neighbors roof around 7am. Not cool. Then went to Em's to help set up for Kassidy's birthday party. Had a good time at the party and was glad that Eowyn was there. I don't like going more than a day without seeing her (when she is visiting her dad)... and this time it was Sat night, all Sunday and all Monday...
5/25: Memorial Day. Again, stupid roofers woke me up early (so much for getting to sleep in when I didn't have Eowyn....Thanks, jerk wads). Ended up running a few errands with Shayne and then playing Farm Town on Facebook throughout the day. Shayne seemed content- he was able to read and watch whatever movies/shows he wanted without me whining.
5/26: Back to work. Gross. Finished up the required trainings. Was ticked off to see that a few of them I had already done, but it doesn't show you that when you enroll. I mean, why WOULD it say, "Hey- you've already done this training. Do you REALLY want to do it again??"
That's about it in a nutshell. Again- most of the exciting pictures are on my Facebook until I can figure out what is up with my laptop and blogspot...
Note to self: MUST GO TO GYM ON THURSDAY

Mother's Day
On Sunday, I hosted (with my sisters and cousin, Bonnie) our annual Mad Hatter Mother's Day Tea Party. My mom normally throws the bash, but she was vacationing in Florida and was getting back the Saturday before...so we decided that us girls (the daughters) would try our hand at it.
Emily and Katie came over early so that we could decorate and put together our salads and other snackies. We all brought some tea and did a little decorating.
Emily had some cute 'home spa' recipes that could be made with common household items. So I had printed out little booklets for each lady to have... We had originally wanted to do a couple of the recipes at the party, but decided that our main activity would end up taking up too much time, so we just handed the booklets out.
Everyone arrived with their funny hats- my Aunt Karen and Gram had the most outrageous hats... I felt a little bad because my aunt had commented that she felt a little overdressed with her crazy hat... but it was honestly just that we (meaning Emily, Katie and I) were so busy trying to make the party fun that we forgot to embellish our hats... And the hat that I found seemed ugly and appropriate when I purchased it (for a whopping $7.95)... but then I came to like it. A lot. Lol. Unfortunately I only have a picture of Eowyn wearing it- the downfall of being the one taking pictures.
Our 'main event' was to paint our own personal tea cups to start using each year for our tea party. I had ordered a few sets of cups/saucers (that are technically cappuccino cups, but I liked them) and Emily had a bunch of paints to use and will be spraying a protective coat over the paint so that we can start using them :)
Everyone seemed to really enjoy our project and it was fun to see the different ideas that each person had for their tea cups. I wish that I had been able to concentrate more on mine, but I just couldn't focus on a good idea...so I was less than impressed with my final product, but it was still super fun!
After our tea party, we had a family BBQ. Basically the men-folk came and were made to man the grill. Lol. My mom had left a grill at the house that I am renting from her, but she had warned me that you basically had to stand on your head and chant some archaic spells or something in order to light it... Lol.
It was nice to see my Uncle Bill (Aunt Karen's husband), grandfather, Joe (mom's hubby) and my Uncle Ben. We don't get to do things as a family very often... We are all at so many different places in our lives right now...
Oh- and I got a LOT of compliments about the potato salad that I made (that I had been worrying about for weeks because I hadn't made one before). :) That made me very happy! Seriously- there was only a little left of the big bowl that I had made. And I saved it for Shayne to try, who said it was potatosalad-riffic! LMAO!

LMAO!

Dina's Wedding
Saturday was Dina and Matt's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and I am so happy that I was able to be a part of it =)
We started the morning getting our nails done (a few of us got pedicures as well...giggle) and then we headed to the wedding site. There wasn't too much for us to do, as the wedding location took care of everything. We ended up really just needing to finish up some of the wedding favors (super cute little cards with heart shaped cookie cutters).
Then we all started getting our hair and make-up done. I was a little freaked out about the make-up... I was kind of uncomfortable wearing so much make-up. I normally just wear a little eye make-up and call it good... I felt like I almost didn't look like myself. But I did feel pretty... and I guess that's all that matters. Lol.
The ceremony went well and Dina looked absolutely beautiful! The reception was in another room at the wedding site, so that was nice... to not have to drive to another location. We had our pictures done and then moved to the reception room for the party! YAY!
Shayne came to the wedding and I felt bad because he didn't really know anyone and was sitting by himself. But everything was very laid back and the wedding party was able to go wherever we wanted, so I was able to sit with Shayne and keep him company.... Though I'm sure that he was wishing that there was something to keep me from trying to make him dance. He was okay with slow songs, but has that guy-dance-phobia when it comes to fast dancing. By the end of the night I think he had danced to 2 or 3 fast songs... and he's not a bad dancer...just needs to be more confident.

Spaz
Eowyn has been in such good moods lately... and she's been listening much better and doing as she's told. It's really nice.
Normally when I am making dinner or clearing the table, she will play with her Leap Frog Alphabet magnet set. She's doing a really good job with recognizing her letters and associating correct words that start with the letter she is playing with. A few nights ago, she was being quite the spaz while singing along with the ABC Song... it was pretty cute!

Terrible Twos Over?
Last night, I picked up Eowyn from daycare and was informed that she was completely out of Pull-Ups. Sigh... It's possible that they told James that she was almost out when he picked her up on Friday, but more often than not, I am told when she is out... so I then have to either bring in a partial pack from home, or directly go shopping...
Eowyn and I zipped home and ate a quick dinner of hotdogs... I was actually planning to make something more home cooked... but didn't have the time. I basically have a 2-3 hour window to get everything done with her when I get home... this includes making dinner, eating dinner, tubby and then chill out time.
After dinner, I informed Eowyn that we would be going shoPPing :) We got ready and went to the Super Wal*Mart in Brewer. While there, I realized that I had to pick up a few dinner items and a few things for the Mad Hatter Mother's Day Tea Party on Sunday. I also found Eowyn a cute pair of shoes to go with her new dress.
We ended up bumping into my sister, Emily, and her husband (Matt) and daughter (Kassidy). The whole trip ended up going well. Eowyn agreed to sit in the seat part of the cart (I did have to bribe her with a piece of gum) and basically was unusually well behaved.
Here's a picture of her with her new shoes and dress:
My mom's birthday was on the 3rd, but she is on vacation and won't be returning until Saturday. Thoma had done a pencil drawing of one of Eowyn's adorable groups of angel pictures (she was 6 months old and I put some angel wings on her and snapped away on Valentine's day). I can never thing of anything to get for my mom... she's one of those people that has everything that they need, so it's always hard for me to find the right present for her... something that she'll use or appreciate... not just gather dust in a closet somewhere... So this year, I had a few copies of Thoma's drawing made up and put one in a neat frame that I found (I got the same one for me too... Lol).
I think it came out pretty well:
When Eowyn and I got home from shopping, she wanted to go out and play in her sandbox. I was able to talk her into opening the porch door for me while I brought in the groceries. The first pass went well and she was all excited to open the door and 'help' me. The second (and final) trip seemed to be going well... until I got to the bottom of the steps. I looked up and saw my little munchkin crying and in pain. She had closed her thumb in the door while she was waiting for me to get back! I quickly opened the door to release her thumb. I put down the load of groceries and scooped her up and gave her a kiss. She was very upset and said, "The door pinched my thumb!!!!" I brushed her hair out of her face and the tears off her cheeks and told her how she was being such a good girl helping me. Then I kissed her thumb and asked her if she was okay. "Yeah"... and she took off. Lol. My kid's so bad-ass. There was no broken skin or nail, so I wasn't too worried, but I still felt really bad.
After the groceries were put away, Eowyn had her tubby and then we sat on my bed and read her new book for a little while. Around 8:15pm, I told her that it was time for her to go in her own bed and I would check on her after I was done with the dishes, etc. She didn't struggle or fight... !!!!? I did have to allow her to have her book in bed... which was just propped up next to the guard rail, but she was asleep when I checked on her 15 minutes later.
I'm wondering if the terrible twos are almost over...? Will I really have my adorable little girl back? Someone needs to kick that terrible twos monster in the butt. He's a jerk.

Outside Fun =)
Saturday was a beautiful day to be outside. Shayne and I brought Eowyn to the park and then we got some ice cream. She wanted pink ice cream... then decided it was gross (and it was) and then ate mine...
And here she is having a blast on the slide...
Back at home, I was finally able to get her to try her 4wheeler that she got for Christmas. Being outside was better for her (as it was not so loud). She did end up running into things because she couldn't quite get the hang out of steering...
Here is Eowyn climbing the rock wall with determination...

Sold out...
Last night, Shayne was very upset to hear one of his favorite songs on a commercial for USC. Thinking back, I'm pretty sure that I have heard a little bit of the song used before, but this advertisement had quite a bit more of the song in it... Poor Shayne...

Stop and Smell the Flowers
Last night, Eowyn and I ate our dinner on the sun porch and then went outside to play. She spent a fair amount of time in her sandbox, and then we went exploring around the house to look at the flowers that had been planted before we moved in.
I thought the White Violets growing between the few bricks at the bottom of the steps was cute looking... so I took a picture of it.
There were a lot of White Violets on the lawn, so I put a few in Eowyn's hair.
This one came out pretty cute. I have to clean out the pond... I really don't want to...
Adorable picture of Eowyn smelling some Tulips :)

Random Thoughts
What is so 'fancy' about McDonalds 'Fancy Ketchup'?
Why is there so much more salt in the salt packets than pepper in the pepper packets?
Why do fast food places give you your drink first, but wait to give you your straw in the bag of food?
Why does the alarm clock on my phone occasionally NOT work?
Why did Burger King stop carrying the Cherry Icees?
Why does being bored all day at work exhaust you?

Caching
Today, during recess time at work, Wendy and I went and found a geocache in the woods behind the parking lot (where some of the tree-people live). It was pretty fun and now I'm looking around for a cheap handheld gps unit so that I can find some more caches :) I bid for one on eBay, but some douche kept outbidding me and ticking me off... There was another auction that lasts a few more days that I will attempt to bid on later.
I'm lonely :(

Circus
On Saturday (4/25/09) Eowyn, Shayne, Wendy and I went to the circus. On the way to buy our tickets, a lady gave me an extra ticket that she had! So... Eowyn got some extra circus toys while we were there :)
We all had a good time, and Eowyn did better than I thought she was going to. We were able to stay for the whole show! After the circus, we went back to my house and Eowyn played in her sandbox, slid down her slide and played on her trike.
I'm having issues with my laptop (just got it sorted out yesterday). I'll try to post some pictures later tonight.

Shopping
Shayne and I decided to blow of going to the gym on Sunday. It was too nice out and we kind of just wanted to roam around. We ended up running some errands with my niece, Kassidy, in the morning. After we dropped her off, we went to look at mattresses, then went to Sea Dog to have lunch (YUM!). After lunch, we picked up a few things that I needed to fix the gate to the back fence at my place... then we went to Marden's.
Shayne has decided that we will not be going there again. I think it's because I made him go to the shoe section with me. You CAN'T go to Marden's and NOT check out the stunning collection of hideous shoes they have...
These were both a bit big for me, but I managed to have Shayne participate in my foolishness by taking pictures:
I can think of absolutely nothing to say about these shoes... They make me want to hurl...
Kenuskeag Canoe Race
On Saturday, Eowyn and I met up with Wendy and Mel to find the best place to watch the canoe race. We drove to the Hudson road, but there were too many people and we would have had to park way too far away... We ended up going back to Bangor and parking at Shayne's and walking down and finding a nice little spot.
Eowyn did very well. She ended up sharing her rocks and sticks with Wendy and Mel and pretty much behaved herself. She even walked all the way back (including treking up a big hill) without being carried.
It took a little while, but she started to understand that we should clap and cheer for people that made it past the rocky little area that we were by, and to show concern for people who dumped by saying "Uh oh!" or "Oh no!"... her favorite saying ended up being, "They MADE it!"

Critics
So, Saturday night, Shayne and I went to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. We hadn't been there together, so we decided to try it out. Plus, I had a Victoria Secret secret shopper card (or something like that).
We both ended up getting the salad bar with our meals... and we were disappointed with the selection at the 'salad bar'. Not to mention the stupid 'window shoppers' that were seriously standing in the way, just LOOKING and commenting on the salad bar. We're standing there with our plates partiallly filled while this woman and her husband are standing in the way commenting on what things are and something about the different pasta salads they had. I finally say 'excuse me' and still have to walk AROUND her to get to the other side of the bar. ...Is it wrong that I immediately assumed that she was Canadian??
Anyways... we finally get back to our table... after running a relay-race around this table of about 7 people (dare I assume...Canadians?) that are standing, sitting, and playing with a baby... blocking the way... completely oblivious to our attempts to regain our seats so that we can...gasp!... eat our frigging food.
We finally sit down and Shayne and I are discussing our disappointment with the salad bar...and the scary looking waitress (with WAY too much blue eyeshadow on) at the crazy Candian's table.... I was sad that there were not any olives or chicken.... and Shayne was commenting on the color of the croutons... Then... highlight of the night... he discovers that the 'ham' that he put in his salad... well, it's not actually ham at all....
See those little chunks of meat?? It's bologna... seriously...
Our dinner arrives and Shayne's steak was more 'medium-well' than 'medium-rare'... The best part of his meal ended up being the steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes.
I ordered some spicy chicken noodle thing... "Sonora Chicken Pasta"... The menu claims it is "One of our classics. Pasta tossed in spicy southwestern cheese sauce with baked chicken and black beans. Accented with cillantro and tomatoes." I took a bite and offered a bite to Shayne. At first, the spiciness kind of took over your mouth (which I like)... but then you are left with the aftertaste of Hamburger Helpers powdered cheese/sauce mix. Not a fan.
The plates were cool though.

Easter Saturday
4/11/09
So, on Saturday morning Eowyn and I celebrated Easter with a bucket full of plastic Easter eggs and a lot of prizes! (Note to self, keep track of what you purchase when you start picking things up early... had WAY too much stuff).
James left for work, and Eowyn and I continued to search for the rest of the Easter eggs... 60 total... What? That's how many came in the basket that I bought. The Easter Bunny hid the eggs in very open spots. A bunch on the fireplace mantle, on the couch, coffee table... UNDER the coffee table, etc. She ended up finding them all and then we opened them. There were a lot of play rings with penguins, dolphins, etc on them. It was funny to see her try to have them on all of her fingers while opening other eggs. Lol. There were finger puppets in a few of the other eggs, little heart & butterfly shaped slinkies, candy, those capsules that you put in water and after a while there's a sponge animal that emerges... and glitter make-up. ...The glitter make-up was something that she spent most of the morning smearing over her face- until it mysteriously disappeared...

I heard the door downstairs as James and Eowyn arrived. I was harldy out of bed when James bolted up the stairs saying that I had better hurry... someone was going to town finding their eggies.
I went downstairs and heard a little voice saying, "Here's ANOTHER one! And a PINK ONE! And a GREEN one! Here's ANOTHER ONE!!!!" I had put 10 eggs on the sun porch with a little note wishing Eowyn a Happy Easter (from the Easter Bunny, of course) and the empty basket that the egss came in. By the time I got down to where Eowyn was, she had already found the 10 eggs on the porch and was on her way to filling her basket with the eggs in the Music Room. I had put this huge stuffed (pink) puppy on the piano bench and James told me that when she saw it she said, "AWWW! Look at my pink puppy!"... Lol.

There were these really cute chocolate carrots that were in her basket... they ended up having little hooked plastic sticks on them... She really liked those...
After we got settled down and she ate her candy for breakfast, we got ready to go to my mom's with my sister Emily, and niece Kassidy. We had a nice Easter Lunch of ham and veggies... and Eowyn got to hunt for some more eggs. Lol. The Easter Bunny apparently visited Grimmy's house too!

Lost Meltdowns
Sigh... After I picked up Eowyn from school last night, it was seriously one meltdown after another. She was upset that there were no more strawberry fruit snacks, she broke her new Pinocchio DVD in half (and was more upset when she found out that Mommy couldn't fix it), she couldn't find her Dolphin magnet thing... or her Mermaid doll (I think they are both at James'). I have been trying to discuss her 'problems' with her as she starts melting down, and then kind of ignoring it by going back to making dinner or whatever it is that I was doing. You know, acknowledge the problem... and if she isn't receptive, then I move on. When dinner was ready, I went and found her laying under the coffee table with tears and snot streaming down her face. She was at the point where she would let me hold her and tell her that I love her and that she can talk to me if she has things that are bothering her.
HA! What do I expect? She's not even 3 yet. Her idea of fixing a problem is for Mommy to magically summon the fairy of strawberry fruit snacks so that there will be more in the house... Lol.
Anyways... The plus side of meltdowns... It seems to increase the appetite of small children. Last night she chowed down her dinner... it almost seemed like she was having a hard time breathing between bites. Lol.
After dinner, Eowyn had a nice long tubby. She got all winkwy (wrinkly) and then we played a matching game with her Nemo cards on my bed. She only got out of bed once, after I put her down for the night. Then she didn't wake up until this morning.... though she had taken off her PJs and was standing in her room in just her Pull-Up when I went to get her. Lol. She's strange.
I was so exhausted last night. After abusing my body at the gym and hardly getting any sleep the night before, then dealing with the multiple meltdowns of Eowyn, I thought I was going to pass out at 8pm (right after I put Eowyn in bed). I had been tossing around the option of NOT watching Lost. I had missed the new episode last week, but could get caught up this week (they play the most recent episode before the new episode each week). I blew it off. I've been watching Lost more out of habit and the fact that I have invested 4 years in watching it. This season is not grabbing me and has become completely different. The people are there, but it's as if there is a new team of writers that didn't even bother watching the prior shows.
...So... at the point of no return, I opted to read my book instead of catching up on Lost. I feel... almost free... But there is a hint of regret. I can always rent this season after it comes out on DVD. Save myself the agony of dealing with commercial breaks every 10 minutes...
My book is getting pretty good. After I banned it for about a week for having a 42 page prologue, I finally started reading it again. Lol. Some of the characters are pretty funny. I was very surprised that one of them started dropping the F-bomb all over the place. I was actually having a hard time NOT laughing out loud while I read. I'm really a big fan of how Guy Gavriel Kay writes.
I also had a little time (before my mind rendered me completely useless from exhaustion) to make sure that someone knew that they are a good person and hopefully helped them feel better about themself. Sometimes things don't work out. But it's not due to the fault of one person or another. It's just the way this crazy world works.
Though... I do fault the fact that there is no Strawberry Fruit Snack fairy to help bail me out of potential meltdowns.

New Routine
Last night I went to the gym for the first time in about a year. It felt so nice to be able to work out again. I have to admit, I was completely stupid and forgot how to make the elliptical work... I forgot that you had to start working out on it in order for the machine to power on and allow you to make your workout selection... Lol. Luckily, I ended up on a machine next to Wendy and she reminded me =P It was also fun to chit chat a bit with Wendy, like old times.
So far, I am not sure what my goals are. The usual 'get rid of the disgusting stuff' is always on the list... but as far as weight to lose, I am not sure. I ended up gaining about 15 pounds since my last trip to the gym... so I'd at least like to get rid of that again. And with bathing suit season coming up, the gross stomach thing needs to go... though I didn't really make much of a difference in that when I was going to the gym before...
Anyways- it feels good to be doing something healthy. And with spring finally under way, I can't wait to start doing more things outside with Eowyn :)

Sleepy Rain
I have been having problems with getting Eowyn to go to bed when it's bedtime. Her main issue is that she wants to sleep in my bed with me, but I don't want her to ONLY be able to sleep in my bed. Over the past few weeks, her fights have become less, but she will strip down and chill out in her room, naked, until I go up and check on her.
Last night, she went to bed without as much of a fight. She didn't even get naked... she just kept getting up and walking to the baby gate and standing there. She didn't even turn on her light (which is the sign that I look for when I'm cleaning up and doing laundry after I put her to bed).
I finally was able to get her to fall asleep in her bed, so I read for a little bit and went to bed myself... seriously... at like 10:30pm!! ...Then around 12:30am, she woke up and I let her get in my bed to snuggle until she fell back to sleep. I had full intentions of putting her back in her bed after she fell asleep again... but I fell asleep...
So, I'm not sure if I consider this a 'fail' in the routine or not. I mean, TECHNICALLY she went to sleep in her own bed... but I never put her back in her own bed. I have to admit, it's nice to snuggle with her :)
On a completely unrelated note, I renewed my gym membership and will be going to the gym tonight. I'm very excited to get rid of this disgusted feeling that I have with myself.

Something New
I have decided to start keeping a blog in its own place... as in- not associated with MySpace, etc. So far, I am succeeding in confusing myself. As always, I am making things more difficult than they need to be. I have already made 2 blogs... lol... and this is the only one I will be using. Maybe I can figure out how to delete the second one later...
I now have a Facebook subscription. This is... uhhhh... different... I think I am just more familiar with MySpace, but I do like the general idea that I get from Facebook. Again, something that I will have to get myself familiar with.
Saturday was a fun day. Eventhough it was rainy and icky, Eowyn and I got some grocery shopping done (she actually sat in the little seat on the shopping cart without having a fit!!). We got home and had some lunch and then I put her down for a nap. While she napped, I cleaned the house. Due to the dirt road at my mom's being more of a swamp, we changed 'Family Dinner' to my house. Lol... I had JUST enough chairs, and thankfully had decided to purchase a larger dining room table with my tax refund.
While my mom and I were getting the "make your own burritos" stuff ready for dinner, Eowyn went outside with Grandpa Joe. She's finally getting some use out of the rain gear that she has! :)
She's so adorable!
