Today has been a nasty, rainy day. At one point there was the pounding of hale outside, so I thought it might be neat to take some pictures of the hale bouncing off the deck out back. Of course, by the time I got my camera out, it stopped. Go figure.
I ended up going to run some errands. I had to return some capris at Target and realized that the Easter bunny hadn't done any shopping yet. I picked up a bunch of candy to hide in the plastic eggs that we have and found some cute things for Little Miss E. I was super bummed to find out that Jesse (from Toy Story) was pretty darn expensive ($50) at Toys R Us, so begrudgingly went to WalMart to see if they had anything there. Apparently WalMart is either out of Toy Story stuff or they moved it somewhere...
I did end up scoring a cute "Tangled" set of Rapunzel, Flynn, and Maximus. E is ALL ABOUT these mini Disney Princesses that have rubbery-plastic clothes and mini accessories. It seems that these princesses have been updated with fabric clothing and now come with their respective princes... Great... You can't just buy the princes... you have to buy them as a set. Awesome...
Anyways, she has multiples of different princesses and they are all currently residing in the front zipper of her suitcase...
So, it's been quite a while since I blogged last. I think it's time that I start again...
Things have been quite uneventful for a while for me. I quit my job at VZW near the end of January 2010 and had been working some temp positions since then.
Shortly after quitting VZW, I enrolled in online classes at the University of Phoenix. Originally I had decided to enter into the pharmaceutical field, but before my second year of classes started I changed to Human Services. I'm starting to get burned out from school (the only break is around Christmas, so as soon as one class ends, the next one starts the very next day). I've been doing well grade-wise. I have a 3.95 GPA, but have been freaking out about not having a job. Because my daughter and I have a vacation planned for the first week of May, I'll have to wait on the serious job hunting until we return.
Anyways... that's the update for now. Hopefully I can be more devoted to blogging going forward... and perhaps decide what type of blog I would like to write ;)
